There are a number of forms for you to complete for your first visit. So that we may both save time, we have attached these forms on this page below for your convenience. In order that we may develop a complete and comprehensive picture of your health according to Chinese medical diagnosis, we ask that you complete the “New Patient Intake Form” to the best of your ability. All of this is important to develop a clear diagnosis, so that together, we can get to the root of your main health concern
The additional forms can be reviewed in the privacy of your own home and we ask that you sign them and bring them with you on your first visit.
Many new patients want to know what to expect during the acupuncture treatment. With the insertion of the acupuncture needles you may feel a few things. You may feel a dull ache, a tingling sensation local to the needle or elsewhere in the body, a sensation of fullness, or the sensation of energy moving in the body. That’s all normal. But if you feel anything sharp, that’s the needle you are feeling and just let us know, as we want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you are receiving your care here. Also, after treatment, you may feel grounded, relaxed and possibly “spacey”. That’s normal with acupuncture, as we always work on balancing the body, mind and spirit
